Allgemeine und biologische Psychologie

The CNM is a special interest group hosted at the division of General and Biological Psychology and has a separate homepage. We build computationally concrete theories in psychology using connectionist and language models, as well as predictive machine learning models. We combine them with neurocognitive methods using behavioral, eye tracking, EEG, fMRI and optical imaging data.

The CNM is presently funded by the long-term infrastructure priority program of the German Research Foundation New Data Spaces for the Social Sciences, in which survey and large panel data are integrated with digital Big Data. We like to establish best practices for data protection and re-use. In our sub project, we examine what Google and Cookie data can tell us about individual personality, knowledge, interests and intelligence.
